You had a fairly conservative childhood, a well-off middle class family, a younger sister, two cars, television - nothing out of the ordinary at all. Secondary school was at a well-known private school, fitting in with the popular social group, playing football and cricket - if it wasn't for your lack of interest in women, you would have been perfectly happy. Not that you thought gay guys were particularily 'bad' - it just wasn't for you... nothing to do with fear of retribution from the other guys, or that nervousness you always experience with new situations. It was just easier to pretend that you weren't interested.
Out of school, and doing Commerce at Melbourne Uni. You got a reputation as a loner of sorts, concentrating on studying, or tutoring, or acting in the Shakespeare society or whatever. You did well at your studies and ended up in a prosperous job. After pulling off several excellent futures investments, you found yourself being interviewed for a most unusual promotion.
And thus it was you joined the ranks of the undead. Your world was turned topsy-turvy as you tried to adjust to your new status and need for blood. Out hunting for the first time, your Sire happened to grab a young man as the first available meal. Nothing bad seemed to happen. You enjoyed it. So your next meal was a young man. And your next. You grew used to this new way of expressing yourself, and no one in the Clan seemed ready to look down on you or your actions. After a bare month or so, you took to your new life like a duck to water.
Well, almost. A growing attraction for Nicholas of Clan Brujah marred an otherwise perfect life. A leatherclad, angry young man, your Clan would never approve any liaison, and he is probably a screaming homephobe by the looks of him... however, you have a hard time keeping your eyes off him when you meet.
Technically, you could probably swing a position in the Prince's fortress during this emergency, but you have a big deal going down on Monday and no guarantee you could get out in time to go through with it. Besides, while the elders are away, you may be able to play....
