Alyssa Only!

Sunday 4

Alyssa goes to inform Melinda of what they have found out about Pringle. Melinda agrees with their recommendation not to perform a cleansing rite. Alyssa and Melinda chat about wedding rituals. Alyssa then heads off to join her pack, but receives a phone call on the way. It is Alexsandr Petrovich. He tells her that he heard about Grant's incident and used some favours up to try and find out who hit him. He found that while it was indeed two homids, they were employed by a shadowlord of his aquaintance. Alyssa demands to know who. He refuses to tell her, because she would get herself killed trying to take revenge. He also says its quite possible that this may have nothing to do with Vlad directly - it might be an independant act, but he isn't sure yet. Alexander reiterates his request for her minor help - throw in her support behind a Fianna candidate and make sure that Vlad does not end up with a pawn.

Alyssa goes into the caern to calm down.

Later, she catches up again with Melinda and tells her about the information she has received. Melinda is less than impressed to hear that she has been interacting with Alexander, having heard some unsavory things about him... although she concedes they were from a Shadow Lord as well. Alyssa tells her about the claim that the thugs were from a Shadow Lord and Melinda asks her if she has some sort of independant confirmation. No. Damn. Alyssa heads off home

Alyssa finds Grant at home, and tells him about the information she has received. They engage in a rather stressful conversation. Alyssa is harsh and martial and Grant starts to look a little unsure, explaining this is what scares him about his family. Alyssa tries to explain that this is who she is and Grant still looks unsure.

Tuesday 6 May, 1997

Alyssa gets to Grant's house and finds all the lights bar one off. Grant is sitting in the lounge room with Alyssa's letter in his hands. Things start well when Grant says "What the hell is this? - it sounds like the beginning of 'goodbye'" and tosses the letter down on the ground. Alyssa says that she was trying to explain why the Garou stuff that she does is so important. Grant tries to express his concern that the Garou parts of them are going to overwhelm their life and they will simply become the Shadow Lord who defied her tribe and the Kinfolk who married her. Things are tense for most of the evening.
