1 Thaumont - New Years Day
All businesses are supposed to be closed on this holiday, and
most traders are more than willing to comply, give the hectic
activities of the past few weeks.

Some residents of Thyatian descent celebrate this holiday - although
far more often, it is used as an excuse to recover from the excesses
of the Festival of the Masked Ball.
1 Klarmont - Beast's Day
Celebrated only in areas with a strong Traladaran presence,
this is the traditional day of the last battle between King
Halav and the Beast-Men, and is a big, lavish Traladaran

streets in parades, and there are mock battles between the
Beast Mean and Men, dances and other events commemorating
the battle. Religous observations are held by the clerics of
the Church of Traladara.

events and the closing of all businesses.
14 Felmont - Midsummer's Eve
Summer solstice, celebrated by many religions.
15 Felmont - Day of Valerius
This is a day celebrating high romance and passion, dedicated
to the Immortal Valerius. On this day, more marriages take
place, more betrothals are announced, more unhappy lovers
kill themselves, more duels are fought by rivals for a lady's
affection, more lovers keep daring trysts than in any other
week. This appropriately is a full moon.
8 Ambyrmont - Vanya's Day
This is a day of giftgiving and celebration of the year's
prosperity - or hope for the next year's prosperity, if this
one has been poor. This is a day of good cheer and heavy feasting;
it is also the day upon which the most serious duels take place. By
ancient tradition, only duels to the death are conducted on
Vanya's Day - other duels must be delayed.
15 Ambyrmont
Every five years (years ending in 3 and 8), the Great Reckoning
begins.
6 Swiftmont - Harvest Day
All citizens, no matter their station, dress as farmers
for the day and celebrate the harvest - even in the largest
cities. Many businesses remain open, but most workers
try to get this day off if they can.

In the years of the Great Reckoning, the counting and calculation is
usually finished by this day.

traders thorughout Darokin scramble this entire month to renew
working agreements with suppliers, customers and other business
partners.
28 Vatermont - Day of the Dead
On this day, traditional Traladarans dress in black as if to go
to a funeral, sweep out their homes, and tell the spirits
